The Epsten Gallery at Village
Shalom is a museum-quality viewing space
designed to showcase high-quality art exhibits from around
the country. The Gallery is the Jewish community’s
only professionally designed and operated art facility.
The Kansas City Jewish Museum Foundation manages The Gallery
as well as scheduling and publicizing all exhibits throughout
the year.
The Gerson Social
Hall and Appleman Synagogue are spacious gathering
rooms for various programs, services and celebrations.
Both areas are available to residents or community members
for special occasions.
Hillcrest Bank offers
a full service banking location at Village Shalom for
our residents and staff. Open weekdays from 9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m., the bank's office is located on the first

Vador Outdoor Playground are uniquely designed to
make our young visitors feel right at home. One-of-a-kind
outdoor equipment lets both children and older adults enjoy
the outdoor play area together. Toys and a TV/VCR are available for use in The Little Village.
Rachel’s Café is our casual restaurant serving
freshly-prepared kosher food to campus and Villa residents

The R. Hugh "Pat" Uhlmann
Family Library is our volunteer run library. The Uhlmann Library houses over 500 small print,
large print and audio books that are available for check
out at any time.
The Village Gift Shop offers a range of items for purchase, such as books, toys, videos, gifts and convenience items.
