Matthew E. Lewis, President and CEO of Village Shalom, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicole Anthony as Director of Finance. She will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions and financial reporting of Village Shalom and its Charitable Supporting Foundation.

Anthony brings to Village Shalom significant finance and management experience, particularly in the senior health care industry. Most recently she served as director of accounting for Santa Marta Senior Living Community in Olathe, KS. In her role at Santa Marta, Anthony had extensive interaction with the retirement community’s management company, Greystone, a recognized leader in the senior living industry. Previously she held accounting positions with NovaStar Financial, Inc., and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Kansas City. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and she recently completed certification as a licensed nursing home administrator.
“I look forward to working with Village Shalom’s funders and the not-for-profit aspects of the organization,” Anthony said. “I also look forward to learning more about the Jewish community.”
“We are fortunate to have an individual with Nicole’s background and experience, especially as it relates to the specialized environment of elder care,” said Lewis in making the announcement. “She will be a valuable addition to Village Shalom and our management team.”
Anthony and her husband, Chris, have a daughter, Ella.
