We Couldn't Do It Without You!
A donation to Village Shalom's Annual Fund ensures that life here is synonymous with dignity and independence. With your assistance, we can continue to create, facilitate, and maintain critical programs and services required to maintain the highest quality of life, such as medical care, memory care, respite care, physical therapy, transportation, a variety of programs designed to stimulate and engage residents and more.
Memorials and Tributes
Honor, commemorate and recognize.
A memorial or tribute gift made to Village Shalom is a truly special way to honor a family member or loved one by recognizing life’s most important events. Whatever the occasion, your tax-deductible gift provides vital support to our life-enhancing services. Whomever you acknowledge will receive a card, letting them know a donation has been made.
Expansion - Capital Campaign
A Defining Moment capital campaign will create a philanthropic partnership with our community to create a free-standing memory care community and an expanded therapy area. Together, we can continue providing for generations to come.
Contribution for Memory Care
From movie screenings to Thursday Happy Hours, musical entertainment by guest performers, working in the garden, word games, cooking demonstrations and birthday parties; Village Shalom ensures residents have aspects of their past lives in their new chapter. Your generosity ensures the continuance of vibrant memory care programming allowing our residents to live full and joy-filled lives.
Part of what makes it possible for us to provide financial assistance, programming, and therapeutic services to residents today comes from legacy gifts made by those who came before. As is tradition, both by our mission and by Jewish faith, giving back to the community is of utmost importance; and paramount to the future success of Village Shalom.
Whether you are remembering Village Shalom in your will, trust, life insurance, or other estate planning, keep in mind that the ripple effect of your gift will provide seniors with critical support for generations.
Ages of Excellence
We are grateful to our supporters of the 2018 Ages of Excellence, which featured David Gergen, Senior Political Analyst at CNN and White House advisor to four U.S. Presidents of both parties: Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton.
Ages of Excellence benefits Village Shalom’s Financial Assistance Program, which serves residents who have exhausted their financial resources and rely on the community for vital care. One in four residents on our main campus receive financial assistance, totaling an average of $1.5 million annually.
Watch for upcoming details on our 2019 Ages of Excellence event.
