Independent Living with First-Class Services and Amenities

Radiant Living

First-class service and abundant opportunities to shine in a close-knit community — that’s what life in our Overland Park independent living community is all about.

Maintenance-free villas and apartments mean you have more time for the good life. Grabbing a cup of coffee or happy hour drink at Stonecreek Bistro, our entertainment hub. Enjoying nearby shopping and dining with friends at nearby Town Center, Prairie Fire or Mission Farms. Attending an arts performance or stimulating lecture. Spending time with the grandkids in Little Village, our indoor and outdoor play areas.

And that’s just the beginning. You can pursue a lifestyle focused on wellness and filled with purpose. It’s independent living that lets you shine.

Worship Your Way

We offer Jewish worship services every Friday and Saturday in the Appleman Synagogue. We also offer High Holy Day services and morning and evening minyans hosted by our friends at Beth Shalom. We also offer monthly Catholic and Protestant services and free transportation to and from synagogues and churches every weekend.

The Future Looks Bright

Because Village Shalom is a continuing care retirement community, you’ll get priority access to the full continuum of health care services we provide on campus, if your health needs change. Residents of The Villas also receive the area’s most generous healthcare benefit — Shalom Health.

Shalom Health is our $60,000 per person health care benefit. At no additional cost to you, this benefit works like long-term care insurance to provide a substantial discount on the additional care levels available on campus. If you ever need to make a permanent move to our assisted living, skilled nursing or memory care, you can rest assured knowing this benefit will be in place to help cover the cost. Best of all, Shalom Health is free.
